Suárez Vergne
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the European project EqualStrength at the Institute of Economics, Geography and Demography (CSIC). I have previously worked at the Complutense University of Madrid as a project manager for European research and innovation projects, and as an FPU predoctoral researcher, where I completed my PhD thesis on stigma and social exclusion. I have published in journals such as Population and Environment, Arbor, and the Revista Española de Investigaciones Sociológicas, and I actively participate in both international and national research projects.
My work focuses on social inequalities, health, and social integration, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. From 2026 onwards, I will continue at the Institute of Economics, Geography and Demography under a Juan de la Cierva fellowship, examining how discrimination, social inequalities, and economic precariousness affect the psychological well-being of minority groups.
